With the high temperatures on the forecast for this wekeend it is important to keep in mind that extreme humidity can set off smoke detectors/alarms - The sensor thinks that there is a problem, that there might be a smoke. When it is especially humid, the device reacts the same way to water v***r as it does to smoke.

SECURITY TIP OF THE MONTH - LANDLINE PHONES

Before cancelling your landline phone, ensure it's not connected to your security alarm system. If you do plan on cancelling, ensure you have a wireless cellular alternative in place to make sure there is no disruption in your security monitoring.

After cancelling your landline, the most obvious advantage is that you are no longer paying for the telephone services. Upgrading to cellular monitoring also eliminates the risk of the phone line being cut to disarm the system, as signals are transmitted over a cellular network instead.

Our Technicians can discuss the options available to you at any time!
