What was once unused garage space is now a beautifully integrated shower addition — designed specifically for rinsing off after time spent by the pool.

Every detail was considered, from the fully waterproofed Schluter shower system to the custom-built niche finished with precisely mitered quartz jambs.

The vanity was selected to make the most of a compact footprint, balancing clean design with everyday function.

A small addition with a big impact — proving that great design is often about making the most of the space you already have.

What you’re seeing in the first pictures is where this project sits today, and the second is the designer’s vision brought to life through a rendering.

The return wall coming down from the arch can’t be fully built yet. We need to wait until the base cabinetry and countertops are installed so we can tie everything together with precision and ensure the arch lands exactly where it’s intended.

The arched opening and vaulted detail are key design features of this space, and a lot of the planning happens long before the finishes go in. Huge credit to the designer for incorporating these architectural elements and helping create a kitchen that feels both custom and timeless.

Looking forward to bringing this rendering to reality. 💎

It’s been a while and thought I should reintroduce myself to everyone who is new to my account!

I’m Derek, owner of Curran Carpentry - a business I love and am very proud of. My wife always says, “No one loves their job as much as Derek does!”

My wife Lindsay is a teacher and our 3 kids, Easton, Emma and Eliza, keep us busy, in a great way!

I love talking renovations, watching sports and woodworking when time presents itself. I look forward to growing Curran Carpentry over the years to come.
