When does staging not make sense?
Honestly? Almost never.
In our experience, nearly every listing can benefit from some level of staging - even if it’s just a consultation to guide prep, flow, and presentation.
But sure, there are a few exceptions:
• The seller already has enough money and is not particularly concerned about getting more of it
• They want fewer showings - because poor presentation is a surprisingly effective buyer-repellent
• The property is a full tear-down and the house is basically just standing there waiting for its dramatic exit
Outside of that? Presentation matters.
The strongest listings don’t leave buyer perception to chance. They plan for it.
Because buyers are forming opinions long before they book the showing - and staging helps make sure those opinions work for the listing, not against it.
Curious: do you see staging as a baseline part of listing prep, or more of an add-on?
