What Douglas and the Horlings team built wasn’t just a boardwalk—it was a gift of freedom.

For a husband living with Parkinson’s, navigating his own backyard had become difficult and dangerous. So, the team created a custom path connecting his workshop, backyard, and driveway, giving him safe access to the places he loves most.

His wife shared that he was in tears when he realized he could reach his shed again without the fear of falling.

This is the kind of work that reminds us: it’s not just about landscaping—it’s about restoring dignity, independence, and hope. 💚

Here’s another update from the backyard transformation Doug and the crew are working on! We’re building a custom boardwalk to make this space fully accessible for one of our customers living with Parkinson’s — and we’re also adding custom planters and a brand-new garden install to bring it all to life. Can’t wait to show you the final reveal!
