Good morning from Mason and I ☀️
We hope your garden managed to survive the heat wave last week! We haven’t posted in a while but here are some of the plants Mason has grown from seed (maybe yours you donated!) We have been enjoying romaine, kale, peas, beans and just picked some jalapeños!

Happy Mother’s Day! We were excited to see CBC News profile another local seed exchange this morning!

It’s not too late to plant some seeds! We’ve got tons to share and as always we are happy to pass along your half used seed packs to someone else!

It was during the height of the gardening craze at the beginning of the pandemic when Marie-Pierre Bilodeau had an idea. The goal was to create a seed library for her neighbours to share their bounty and create more of it.

Potters Nursery called to say the West Coast Seeds rep donated these to our seed exchange! There’s something about their seeds that truly excites Mason! All are in the mailbox and ready for your planting! Just a reminder we have small envelopes in the mailbox for you to take just what you need!

We met with the manager at Potters Nursery on 192nd and he liked what we were doing so he donated a bunch of cool seeds to fill our free seed library. Too many veggies to name and lots of flowers 💐 Remember that just because it’s called an exchange, doesn’t mean you have to bring anything, you can come and take what you need! Happy Planting!
