I want to take a minute to let everyone know that I've sold my shop to a wonderful local Fort Langley couple, Neil and Sydney, who are excited to pour their love and energy into it, much as I did. They will be making small changes but you can still expect to find character antique pieces, vintage clothing, Dole Whip Soft Serve, and local hard scoop ice cream. They even have a few new surprises in store to make your shopping experience even more enjoyable! Please welcome them to the Fort the next time you are in town. They should be fully up and running soon!
I want to thank my amazing customers, many of whom I now call friends, who came to shop, visit and share stories and life experiences with me. You made my shop come to life, I truly valued the conversations I had with all of you! How blessed was I to have a little shop, on the edge of town, with the train going by, at the edge of the Fraser River, just down the street from the Historic Fort! I got to watch movies being filmed, actors walking by and into the shop, parades and events on the street, lots and lots of dog walkers and cyclists and musicians playing on corners, artists with easels set up and paint brush in hand, colourful vintage cars that tugged at my heart every time I saw one! And people! Lots of people! Fort Langley is a gem of a spot, and I am honoured I was a part of that for the past few years! Thanks to my part-timer Rena, we had fun didn't we!
I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do next, but I know a bit of travel with my hubby is in the cards. See you around the Fort and at antique shops, that's where you'll find me!
