We approach hospitality projects with a look at the unique responsibility we’ve been trusted with to design hotel lobbies and guest rooms.
A responsibility to:
• To create an inviting atmosphere where guests want to come back to.
• To create an experience through materials and details for a lasting impression.
• To use materials engineered for the hospitality environment… families, work crews, sports teams and everything in between.
• To select fabrics and finishes that make room turnovers more efficient and effective for housekeeping.
• To introduce local artistic talent.
• To showcase the natural beauty of the hotel’s location within the design details

For our latest hospitality project, we knew artwork prints from and latest carpet tile collection would meet all those responsibilities.

The refined curved quartz backsplashes surround inlaid mirrors are paired with tongue and groove walls to provide a sophisticated, yet approachable, feel.

Architectural changes designed by infuse contemporary west coast attributes with shed roofs and colour blocking details while using the existing foundation for this large scale renovation. Thoughtfully approached landscape completes the project by softening the angled lines of the house structure with organic forms and natural plantings.

The kitchen island had a specific requirement - it needed to seat their 7 grandsons all at once!
The curved detail expands the counter surface while visually softening the angled architectural line, and integrated organizers within the cabinetry had function to the contemporary form.
