Here is our downloadable Saskatchewan native plant scavenger hunt! Easy to save to your phone and check things off the list.

This is a really fun summer activity to do with kiddos or just to keep on you while you go on your walks! You'll be surprised how many native plants you find just walking around town!

Please make sure to not pick these plants unless on your own private property, and never pick red western lilies as it is illegal. Take pictures to capture their beauty!

Cow parsnip is abundant around here but can cause skin irritation if touched, so just look from afar. Do not consume or touch wild plants that you don't feel 100% confident on their identification.

Pollinator and native plant celebration tomorrow (Monday, Aug 17) at 1PM at the Gazebo in Leoville! We will likely be there until 4PM. Totally free to attend, no registration needed and it is come and go!

We will have free snacks, drinks and you can sign up to receive a free package of native plant seeds for planting next season!

We will also be doing a draw for a FREE brand new 32 oz Owala water bottle, pictured here. You don't have to stay for the whole event to enter in the draw, we will give the winner a call if they are not there, but you do have to come in person to enter!

For all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Here is what we will have going on:
-Bee house making station
-Pollinator water station making
-Downloadable native plant scavenger hunt
-Raffle draw & native plant seed sign up
-Free snacks and drinks

FREE WORKSHOP!

Come to our free pollinator and native plant celebration at the Leoville Gazebo on August 17th, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Drop in program, all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free snacks and drinks provided, and a sign up sheet will be available to receive free native wildflower seeds!

FREE PRODUCE!!!!

We have opened up our farm stand for the first time this year! It's still a work in progress of course, but ready enough to start giving free veggies out to our community!

Today we have lettuce (Grand Rapids, red salad bowl, and romaine) and zucchini!

Located at our farm stand box (pictured here) at 227 Lemieux Cres in Leoville, SK towards the end of the driveway, you should be able to see it from the road!

We will keep produce in there until it's all gone or until 9pm tonight (Aug 8, 2026), whichever comes first! If you miss it today we will be doing this throughout the rest of the season so keep an eye out for posts from us!

If you've been hit by rising grocery costs, come pick up some free organic produce!

Work is well under way for our community farm stand! Still need to put a roof up over it, a coat of paint and some shelving, and then it will be ready to serve our community!

This is our plan to be able to still get veggies out to those in need while operating at a reduced capacity this season. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to be doing food box deliveries to client homes this season, and will instead be offering free organic produce from the garden right next to this lovely stand here in Leoville!

Keep an eye out for an announcement about its opening very soon! The community farm stand will be open shortly and we will post announcements when there is produce to come pick up.

Starting over.

Over the past while, our non-profit has gone through some major operational changes, including losing access to the land we were previously gardening on. Because of this, we are officially starting over in a new location and rebuilding many parts of the project from the ground up.

As part of this transition, our organization has also had to make some difficult internal decisions and restructuring changes to ensure the long-term health, stability, and mission of the non-profit moving forward. While we won’t be discussing private details publicly, we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through this process professionally and respectfully.

What matters most right now is that we are still here, still committed to food security, education, and community care, and already hard at work preparing our new space.

Because rebuilding takes time, resources, and infrastructure, our seasonal free food box program will begin later than originally planned this year. We know this may be disappointing, and we truly appreciate the continued support, encouragement, and grace our community has shown us during this transition.

This new chapter will involve a lot of hard work, but also new opportunities: rebuilding the garden, creating volunteer opportunities, expanding educational programming, and continuing to grow something meaningful for the community together.

Thank you to everyone who has stood by us through the challenges. We’re excited to share more updates as progress continues.

We have wrapped up our 2025 season! The last produce boxes have been delivered, pictured here! 🎃

This was our first year delivering free produce boxes to families in our community.

This year we:
-Delivered 15 produce boxes
-Gave out free plant starts
-Harvested over 300 gallons of potatoes
-Grew 110 lbs of tomatoes
-Raised over $3000 for feeding families next year
-Did outreach at community and province wide events
-Made lasting friends and connections
