New item added to Etsy shop.

Finished this project today. Is it a wall art piece? Is it a centrepiece? Is it for the holidays? Is it for everyday display? The answer to all of those questions is YES!

So many people are creating tables and platters and clocks using epoxy and other methods. All of those things are great. I wanted to get back to a simpler art form. Natural beauty coming from items in nature with as little alterations made to them as possible.

The frame for this piece came from recycled pallets. The birch is from a fallen tree that had been destroyed by birch tree borers.

Now it can continue to be enjoyed...didn’t have the heart to throw such beauty into the campfire.
