WE ARE GRATEFUL TO THOSE WHO STEPPED UP TO SPONSOR THIS EVENT WHICH WAS INTENDED AS A TRIBUTE TO ALL FRONT LINE AND ESSENTIAL WORKERS
WE FIRST RECOGNIZE THE HEALTH CARE WORKERS BUT ALSO OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO CONTINUE TO DELIVER SERVICES FOR US IN THIS ON-GOING PANDEMIC
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE EVER CHANGING GUIDELINES FROM THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING US
OUR HOPE IS THAT PERHAPS RESTRICTIONS WILL HAVE EASED BY FAMILY DAY
OR SOME OTHER TIME LATER
THE FACT REMAINS, WE OWE A HUGE DEBT OF GRATITUDE TO SO MANY IN OUR COMMUNITY

Dear fellow Lloydminster resident,

StoneWorx would like to host a drive-in fireworks event on Dec 31 at 19:00 hours (7pm) to pay tribute to all the Alberta & Saskatchewan residents who lost their lives to Covid 19. In addition, we want to thank all the health care workers who risked their lives battling this pandemic. We also need to acknowledge & cheer the many front line workers who went to work risking exposure to Covid 19 to make sure that we had groceries in our fridges, toilet paper in our bathrooms and pizza delivered to our door, etc. - just a few things that come to mind!

Now, we know that traditionally, fireworks go off at 12 midnight on New Years’ Eve, but 2020 has not been a traditional year. Instead, we will be setting them off at 19:00 hours (7pm) - 19 as in Covid 19.

StoneWorx will donate $1,000 of fireworks for this community event. We are hoping to raise an additional $4,000 to make this a memorable occasion as we say good bye to 2020 (good riddance). We are asking for your help by donating any amount you deem suitable to help us reach our goal. You may send an electronic money transfer to [email protected], you can call us at 780-874-9922 with your credit card number or you can come by our showroom located at 3106-50 Avenue (next door to Nutter’s). Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Deadline for donations is Dec. 21.
Any amount raised above our goal will be donated to the local food banks to ensure that everyone’s cupboards are full this Christmas.
