We recently got called out for two separate ceiling water leaks.

🔹 Job #1: The homeowner had additional insulation blown into the attic. Normally a great upgrade — but not this time. The insulation was installed improperly and blocked the soffit vents. Poor airflow caused frost to build up on the roof sheathing, and when temperatures warmed up, it melted and leaked right onto the ceiling below.

🔹 Job #2: A bathroom fan was venting directly into the attic instead of outside. The trapped moisture built up over time and eventually caused water damage to the ceiling.

💡 The takeaway? Ventilation matters just as much as insulation. Small details can lead to big (and costly) problems if they’re missed.
