After some careful consideration and a lot of great memories working with awesome customers over the last 25 years. I think it is approaching the time that I hang up my trowels after the 2026 season. I have always listened to my body while doing this work and trust me, the multiple tonnes and tonnes of tile and mortar weight I have moved and moved again over the years has taken its toll. It’s time for the ol’ back to get some rest.
So if you have any projects this year and would like Chrisjohn Tile & Stone to take care of you, let us know. I am grateful and thank the many customers who have hired me over the years.

Don’t you love it when your Timmies is made perfect! Shout out to Glencoe Tim Hortons staff, turned these showers Orange yesterday with Schluter-Systems North America and self leveled the floor before Ditra. Tile hitting the floors today! Canadian winter tilers are tougher, just saying…it’s a chilly one out there today. Stay warm.

13”x13” floor tiles with a brick pattern 2”x10” tile backsplash to spruce up the place. My son’s first backsplash install, he is turning into a tile guy!

We are booked for the rest of this season, taking calls for jobs into Spring 2026. Yaw^ko to all of our 2025 customers, it has been a pleasure working with you all, and continuing to perfect our craft in the tile and stone trade. Photo dump to follow… 😉

The kitchen portion is complete just in time for cabinets we will be moving forward with installing tile on three additional floors and renovating two showers in this home. Cheers to a great week!
