In loving memory of Jhammi-Leigh Gunnarsen.
What a tremendous shock and heartbreak to hear of the passing of beautiful Jhammi, a remarkable woman whose energy, passion, and light touched countless lives. It is with profound sadness we wish to remember and honour her.
From the age of 15, Jhammi dedicated herself to her community. She began volunteering with the Ridge Meadows Home Show and, over the years, grew into a coordinator who gave her time, talent, and heart to making the event a success. Her commitment to community and events became a defining part of who she was.
Jhammi’s talents took her far beyond the Ridge Meadows community. She worked with the Abbotsford Agrifair, Reveal Events Group, and many distinguished companies and organizations across Canada as an event manager. Wherever she went, she brought professionalism, creativity, enthusiasm, and an incredible ability to bring people together.
But it was more than her work that made Jhammi so special. Her vivacious energy and brilliant light filled every room she entered. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and connected. She gave so much of herself to so many people, often leaving an impact far greater than she may have ever realized.
Jhammi’s life was one of service, connection, friendship, and generosity. Through the countless events she helped create, the people she supported, and the lives she touched, she leaves behind a legacy that will never fade.
Her mark will be forever remembered - in the community she served, in the events she helped bring to life, and most importantly, in the hearts of the many people who had the privilege of knowing her.
Jhammi may no longer be with us, but the joy she brought into this world remains. May we always keep and cherish her memory by carrying forward that joy and light she so generously shared - remembering her with love, gratitude, and a smile.
Rest peacefully, Jhammi. Your brilliance will continue to shine through all of us who were fortunate enough to know you.
Our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by this tragic and sudden loss.
