BREAKING NEWS from the crooked little house 🏡🦉😂

A tiny owl has officially moved in and appointed itself head of bouquet security. Unfortunately, the donkey also believes this is its job.

Now the owl watches from the roof looking wise and mysterious while the donkey conducts loud ground patrols and investigates every single bucket like a tiny floral detective.

The ranunculus are being inspected for maximum fanciness, the tulips are still being dramatic, the anemones look concerned about management, and the lupins continue acting like they own the place.

Meanwhile the one lonely peony has decided it’s clearly the most important flower in the garden and would like everyone to know it. 🌸✨

The crooked little house is leaning slightly to the side trying not to get involved in the ongoing owl-versus-donkey security debate.

$6.00 bouquets available while supplies last… assuming the donkey approves and the owl doesn’t put everyone under suspicion 💐🦉😂

The plants are all packed up and heading to Alouette Growers! 🌱🚚

If you haven’t checked them out yet, give them a look and place an order. It’s a great way for small farms to sell their extra produce, plants, flowers, and goodies instead of letting them go to waste. Supporting local never looked so green. 💚

Our little plant babies are buckled in, caffeinated, and ready for their big adventure. Please be kind to the tomatoes… they’re emotionally delicate. 🍅😂 🌱🚚💚

Sorry there will be no bouquets this weekend.

This morning at the little crooked house, we caught the sweetest sight 🦌🌿

A beautiful mama doe stopped by with her twin babies. One little one stayed close, nursing quietly beside her mama, while the other was busy being wildly curious about absolutely everything 😄

Sniffing flowers.
Inspecting the garden.
Probably judging the crooked chimney.

Meanwhile, mama stood there calm and patient like every mother who’s ever said, “Please stop licking that.”

It felt like one of those peaceful little moments you wish you could freeze forever — soft morning light, sleepy baby deer, buzzing bees, and flowers swaying in the breeze. 🌸

Nature really does show up with the best reminders to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

Well… the little crooked house survived opening weekend 😄
No walls collapsed, the chimney is still leaning with confidence, and somehow a whole bunch of beautiful humans showed up to support it anyway.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, bought bouquets, veggie plants, basket stuffers, or just came to stare lovingly at the world’s least-square flower stand 🌸🏠

Truthfully, this tiny crooked house was built with a lot of hard work, sore backs, questionable measuring skills, and a big belief that flowers shouldn’t feel like a luxury.
We wanted people to be able to grab something beautiful without needing to remortgage the chicken coop 😅

Because honestly? Flowers help.
They brighten kitchens, cheer up tired moms, comfort hurting hearts, celebrate little wins, and sometimes just help a person survive a Tuesday.

So thank you for supporting a small family business that believes beauty should be affordable and shared.
Every bouquet, every kind word, every laugh about the crooked roof means more than you know.

The bees approved.
The flowers are happy.
And the crooked house feels very loved 💐🐝

🐝🏚️ BREAKING NEWS FROM THE LITTLE CROOKED HOUSE 🏚️🐝

The bees came by this morning and officially approved the house.
They circled the flowers, inspected the bouquets, buzzed around the veggie plants… and decided this place has good vibes. 💐🐝

The new chimney was installed last night too.
And yes… it’s crooked just like the rest of the house. 😂

Honestly, if something here was straight, we’d probably be concerned.

Come visit the little crooked house filled with:
💐 Fresh bouquets — $6
🪴 Basket stuffers
🥬 Veggie plants
🌿 Hostas
🌸 Weigela
🐝 Bee-approved flowers and questionable construction decisions

It may lean a little, but it’s full of flowers and trying its best. 🌸🏚️

GRAND OPENING TODAY:
The Crooked Little Flower House 🌸🏠

Built with:
• one square
• one level
• a bad back
• a bad knee
• and the confidence of a man saying, “Don’t worry, I got this.”

I asked my husband if he could build me something simple to keep the sun off the flowers so the bouquets would stay fresher longer for people taking them home.

My husband worked so hard on this little roadside stand, and somewhere between measuring twice and limping once, it became less of a flower stand and more of a tiny leaning farmhouse with personality.

Is it perfectly straight?
Absolutely not.

Does one side somehow look taller depending on where you stand?
Yes.

Did we discover wood can apparently warp emotionally?
Also yes.

But honestly… I love it more because of that.

Every crooked board has a story.
Every uneven shelf was built by someone trying his absolute best despite aching joints and probably refusing to admit he needed help.

And somehow, this funny little crooked house is now full of the most beautiful straight flowers.

Kind of feels like life, doesn’t it?

So today we’re officially opening our little stand:
fresh flowers, lots of heart, questionable geometry… and bouquets for only $6 🌸

We wanted to keep them affordable because we truly believe everybody deserves to be able to bring home a beautiful bouquet.

Please stop by, grab some blooms, enjoy our slightly sideways craftsmanship, and admire the determination of one very hardworking man who may never build a perfectly square structure—but built something pretty special anyway. 🌸 #

Alright, no bouquets… but we’re not showing up empty-handed 😄

No bouquets this weekend… I know, I know—try to stay calm.

BUT… we do have basket stuffers!
And not just any stuffers—some are Proven Winners (yes, actual overachievers 🌸).

Featuring:
• Bubblegum petunia (smells like summer and poor decisions)
• Bordeaux (fancy name, still low maintenance 💁‍♀️)
• Vermillionaire (attracts hummingbirds and compliments)
• King Tut grass (tall, dramatic, and honestly living its best life)
• Veggie plants (so you can feel productive while buying flowers 😏)

VERY limited… like “if you wait till after coffee, they might be gone” limited.

Keep an eye on this page—more goodies will be added as they’re ready 👀

Come grab a little something for your baskets before they disappear faster than my garden tools 🙃

We flowers absolutely live for this stuff—nothing makes us happier than getting picked up for a celebration… especially when it’s a 25-year marriage! 🌸

Honestly, we feel pretty honored. Twenty-five years together? That’s longer than most of us last in a vase 😅

So here we are, dressed up and smelling amazing, ready to help celebrate a love story that’s clearly stood the test of time 💐 #
