After 30+ years of operation it was out with the old and in with the NEW!

Yesterday we had a mixing valve that had been leaking for some time that needed to be changed out. Unfortunately that boiler drain valve was so crusty that as soon as I turned, it started to leak. After cutting the piping back to fix the issue, I found that the pipe had never been soldered from the original install 10 YEARS AGO! Now that’s some luck.
