Had the pleasure of working on this beautiful front and back yard. We pulled out 1 large pine tree, 2 medora juniper trees, 3 creeping blue spruce shrubs and cut a stump to ground level to begin the process. Approximately 32 ton of 3-4” ballast landscape rock, both fabric & recycled rubber edging, and the perfect touch with these stepping stones. A client requested lawn maintenance (cutting,aeration,etc) on their freshly installed sod and I didn't want to dissappoint by informing them it's not on the menu so I took a little trip in attempt to fetch him a ram. We go above and beyond for our clients. Well- we try.

I-Guy is currently seeking Landscape Construction Labourers for immediate start!!!

You will assist in the completion of various landscape construction projects in and around the city of Medicine Hat. Typical duties include but are not limited to: demolition, excavation and removal of soils and other materials, installation of various bulk landscape products, planting trees and shrubs, construction of hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, decks, and fences etc. Previous landscaping experience is considered an asset, but not required, as on the job training will be provided.

The position is full-time- Mon-Fri, with the possibility of some weekend work (depending on project needs). Pay will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Must be punctual and reliable.
Moving tools and equipment to and from trucks as required.
Using wheelbarrow to cart materials in and out of job site as required.
Completing various tasks pertaining to the completion of the project, as directed.
Safe operation of power tools and motorized equipment to complete tasks as required.
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) worn at all times.
Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.

Requirements (MINIMUM):
Able to lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs.
Ability to listen well and follow instructions.
Must have a class 5 license.
Must have own transportation to and from job site (site location will vary from job to job).

Strongly Suggested Requirements:
Previous experience working as a construction or landscape construction laborer.
Previous experience using a shovel/wheelbarrow.
Previous experience laying sod or planting trees/shrubs.
Previous experience installing patios, retaining walls, fences, and decks.
