Medicine Hat Speedway is inviting you to a drive-in movie RIGHT ON THE TRACK on Saturday July 11th!

We will also have a penny carnival, lots of carnival snacks for purchase, and Kuzco the lama visiting!

A winner will be drawn from all the names at randon on July 8th. As a note, Meta is not involved in this promotion in any way.

Have you heard? Big Truck Day is headed to Co-op Place this year. More parking lot space and more trucks equals BIGGER fun.

Kids and kids at heart can get up close to the trucks, construction vehicles, and other big machines that serve and service our community. Climb inside, honk the horn, press some buttons, and learn all about the vehicles and the people who operate them.

New for this year is Facepainting and Pedal Tractors (partially funded by the City of Medicine Hat) and a FREE BBQ sponsored by Save-On-Foods!

☂️ River Update: Precautionary Measures in Place

The City is taking proactive steps as river flows increase, including temporary closures of some parks, boat launches, and low-lying trails. These measures are in place purely out of caution to keep everyone safe.

While levels are higher than normal and expected to rise slightly in the coming days, they remain well below flood levels and there is no anticipated risk of overland flooding or property damage.

Residents are asked to:

🚧 Respect all closures and signage
🌊 Stay back from riverbanks and fast-moving water
🚷 Avoid low-lying areas along the river

Conditions are being closely monitored and are expected to return to normal soon. We’ll keep you updated as needed.
