Wasn't posting much this week as my schedule was pretty full with helping to install a new septic tank, getting pigs, bringing my bee hive to the keeper to get it started for me, and ready to bring it home next week. Tomorrow, there's nowhere I need to go, so I will be able to finish building my pig tractor idea I started building on Monday but haven't had time to finish yet. Also forgot, but they cut the wire going to my garage, so I have to fix that as well cause I'm a little spoiled with needing power in there. 😂 💪

Just when you thought no more animals were coming this year, someone decided they had other plans. 😂 On Wednesday, we will be welcoming 2 more year old KuneKune pigs to the homestead, Wilbur, and Kevin. It was an offer so good that I couldn't turn it down, and will be going to get them on Wednesday.

Stay tuned. 😁

If you ain't never stood on your deck naked at 7am having a synchronized urination moment with 4 dogs in unison, have you ever truly lived?? 😂

Sure was a 🥵 one today, so took the pups down to the river to cool off, and they had an absolute blast.

Shanel is an acrobat in training. 😂 She has managed to perfect standing on my shoulder, now she's been working on standing on my head. 😂

Mett our second guest, Senor Charlie. Charlie is originally from Mexico, he's not a big dog, but wow, is he ever fit, and solid muscle. From observation, I'm guessing he has a few different breeds mixed into him, the strongest one that shows is a type of hound dog, possibly some Shepherd, and most likely the smaller lean dogs you would see in Mexico, or further south. Charlie looks a bit underweight, but I believe that's a misconception of comparing him to a dog that's bred for more northern climates that tend to be overweight. Dogs that live in year round hot climates need to be lean, otherwise, they will overheat, so it's part of who he is, and not from a lack of eating. trust me, this dog will empty a bowl of kibbles in a hot minute, then stick his head into the bag for more, and judging by how pudgy his sister Bella is, these dogs are extremely well fed. Another thing I would like to note, is how clean these dogs are, a brush was found in the bag of dog food, you can tell it was used, their nails are all nicely trimmed, and overall look quite healthy. I added a better pic of Bella.

Thank you for trusting me with your fur babies, I assure you that they're in very good hands, they get the same hugs and kisses my babies get, lots of free roam time outside with us, and they seem to really like my bed. 😂

I swear, if I see one more beautiful 🐎 for sale that I can't afford, I just may start to cry. 😂 I see people with horses in smaller pens than I could provide, obviously I don't have enough land to fully pasture a horse, but hay, and grains to supplement are always an option. I want the full experience, I want to raise a foal so we can learn together, and grow a super tight bond. I think I would be a bit intimidated by a full grown horse I don't know, as I have very little experience around horses, so for me, starting right at the beginning, learning how to properly train it, care for it, and eventually ride would be a dream come true. I do have some plans of taking riding lessons this summer so I can learn the riding basics. I have a so called friend that calls me brother who has one, but I keep getting ignored whenever I bring it up that I want to learn how to ride a horse, so I'll just have to pay someone to teach me if need be. Either way, I Will eventually find my 🐎 and love it to pieces. When I say that I want the full experience, I mean it, I will learn how to shoe my own horse, care for its hooves, and everything except for what only a vet can provide for health purposes. Ever since I was a little kid that I have dreamed of being on a horse, this year I'm doing it one way, or another, don't care if I have to hop on one ba****ck, and just figure it out, I'm riding a damn horse at least once this year. 😂

We have a visitor staying with us for a little bit, her name is Bella. She's a sweet girl that's a little shy, and nervous, but so far getting along with the other animals, and her brother will be coming to stay with us as well for a bit. If ever anyone is stuck in a jam with their pets, please don't hesitate to reach out, I am always more than happy to foster animals so they can get back to their parents, and not have to find a new furever home. Dogs especially get very attached to their people, I have had to send a dog, or 2 away in the past due to situations, and I still miss them to this day, so I know what it's like when you only want the best for your fur babies, but life throws you a curve ball. I was told she is a bit scared of men, but thankfully, I'm more of an animal than I am man, so we clicked almost right away, and she seems pretty happy with the situation for the most part.
