I want to tell you a story, a story of a battle I have to fight every day, a battle I do not always win. I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, an aunt, a friend, a colleague, a neighbour. I have an amazing family and friends, a very supportive and loving husband and beautiful children. I have it all…including depression and anxiety. I have been struggling with mental illnes

s for a long time, but was only clinically diagnosed during my second pregnancy in 2014. I've always been creative. I love throwing theme parties for my children or any party planning in general. I designed every invitation, handmade most decorations and party favours. But when I fell into depression - the creativity in me slowly disappeared. It became dark and quiet. And I slowly became into someone I didn't even know. There are many ways to cope with mental illness. Some go the dark path of addiction to drugs and alcohol. But I chose to battle and cope with my mental illness through CREATIVITY. REstyled REdesigned is my coping mechanism and my distraction as I continue my journey with mental illness. It gives me an outlet to be busy and cope with my inner demons that lurk within me. And this is how REstyled REdesigned was created. I always give back to the community in all awareness items I make. RR gives monthly donation to PLAN International and CAMH (Centre for Addition and Mental Health Foundation). Awareness days such as Pink Shirt Day, Autism Day and Orange Shirt Day are one of many that I raise money for and give back to the organizations in our community. I am not about profit or flashy slogans. I don't print in offshore warehouses. Every single item you purchase from RR is handmade. From design, to cutting vinyls, to screen printing, to heat pressing, to packaging...all handmade by yours truly. No matter how big or small the order, I will always be there to provide personalized service. The success of REstyled REdesigned is the uniqueness of every item. Shella Romano-Francis

‼️INVENTORY CLEAR OUT‼️

Hello! It’s been a minute.
I have been MIA, I know. Closing the store was really hard for me and took a toll on me mentally.
I’ve acquired A LOT of inventory and I will slowly start to post them at almost “at cost pricing.”
HELP ME get these white pumpkins out or my husband will most likely divorce me - lol…no really!!

🧡 Today, on September 30th, we stand together to observe Truth and Reconciliation Day – a momentous occasion to recognize the historical injustices endured by residential school students and reiterate our unwavering belief that Every Child Matters.

In 2021, when news of unmarked graves shook the nation, the demand for orange shirts surged. To meet this demand, I embarked on a mission to hand-tie dye white t-shirts into vibrant orange creations.

In the spirit of unity, I extend my heartfelt thanks to my employer, Liberty Utilities, for generously covering the costs of all raw materials required for crafting these shirts. Special gratitude goes to our dedicated Total Rewards team, who volunteered their time and creative talents to design unique tie-dye patterns.

I’m proud to have collaborated with two Indigenous Liberty employees who played a pivotal role in creating the artwork featured in this year’s designs.

Our workplace’s commitment to educating ourselves on the challenges faced by Indigenous communities across Canada and our employees’ dedication to supporting these communities are evident in the hard work our team put into creating these shirts and the incredible support we received from our colleagues through their purchases.

I take immense pride in the dedication of my teammates and our ability to turn that dedication into tangible impact through our partnership with the . Together, we are making a difference.

O R A N G E S H I R T D A Y

On September 30th, we will observe Orange Shirt Day, a significant occasion to acknowledge the historical injustices suffered by Residential School students and reaffirm our collective commitment to the fundamental principle that every child matters.

This year, we are proud to continue our tradition of hosting a fundraiser in support of Orange Shirt Day for the benefit of the Woodland Cultural Center.

In 2021, through the generosity of our community, we contributed over $12,000 to this cause, and in 2022, we continued our support by donating over $9,000.

We are thrilled to announce that, once again, we will be contributing 100% of the proceeds from our sales to the Woodland Cultural Center. Yes, you read that correctly, a full 100%.

I extend my sincere gratitude to my employer, Liberty Utilities, for covering the costs of all raw materials required for crafting the shirts, and to our dedicated Total Rewards team for volunteering their time and expertise to create the unique tie-dye designs.

This year, I am delighted to share that I have collaborated with two Indigenous Liberty employees who has played an instrumental role in creating the artwork featured on this year's print.

Pink Shirt Day serves as an opportunity for individuals, schools, and communities to come together to take a stand against bullying. It provides a platform for people to speak out against bullying and to show their support for those who have been affected by it.

It plays an important role in creating a more inclusive and kind society, and it serves as a reminder that every person has the power to make a difference in the fight against bullying.

This is my 6th year offering Pink Shirt Day shirts 💗

It’s Bell Let's Talk Day—an important day for mental health in Canada. In the midst of winter, many of us are experiencing mental health challenges.

So many of you out there aren’t OK right now.
If that’s you, that’s all okay.
If I am being honest, some days, I’m not either. The pandemic has completely wrecked life as we know it and now with the rising inflation, a lot of people are struggling.
No one’s situation looks the same, but we are all experiencing some degree of difficulty. If you are feeling worry, sadness, and anger, you are normal.

Let me say that again...
You. Are. NORMAL.
It’s okay, not to be okay.

You are not broken. You may be down, but you can always get back up.
You will get through this. It may not be today. It may not be tomorrow. It may take weeks, even months, but this too shall pass.

6 years ago on Bell Let’s Talk Day is when I publicly shared my struggles with mental illness. So every year on this day - I will continue to spread my story.
I tell my story because I can. I do it because people need to know that they are not alone.
By sharing my story, it has allowed me to see the shimmering light that can come from the fiercest darkness.
That a person’s lowest point isn’t the end of their story, in fact, it’s usually the beginning. Because of mental illness I’ve grown more empathetic to the battles people face.

My story matters. And so does yours.
It’s okay not to be okay. Share your story. It gives others hope that they are not alone. That we are all in this together.
From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, it’s important for people to have at least a glimpse of what impact of poor mental health on our lives.
And when we combine our voices and speak because we have nothing to hide, we cultivate a powerful sense of community. A community that broadcasts it’s okay to reach out for help.

We all deserve to live a full and healthy life. We need each other in order to give meaning to the unthinkable and painful events we go through.
So Let’s talk about it.

Well…it’s been a minute ♥️
While you haven’t really heard from me…I’ve certainly been hearing a lot from you.
Let me start by saying..THANK YOU for your ongoing support, whether it through online store, social media or even through text.
The last few months were full of ups and downs.
I won’t lie, I wholeheartedly miss the store at this time of year. It was always full of decorations, handmade items, magic, laughter and YOU.
I miss our conversations on what to get friends and families for Christmas; what events you’re attending; where your Elf on the shelf was this morning and the magic of Christmas spirit.

For these reasons, it is with great excitement that I announce that Restyled Redesigned will be hosting a ONE DAY Holiday Pop Up this Saturday December 10 for YOU.
Bring a friend, your dog, your kids or come solo. I cannot wait to see YOU and catch up in person.
I will have my Holiday Best Sellers on hand and any overstock from last Christmas.

All items will be discounted at 20% OFF at the pop up shop ONLY!

Come by and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate with me (we will be serving them for free) and tell me all the things I’ve missed these past few months ♥️
