I love the construction phase as much as the design phase because it’s where our ideas start to take shape.

When I’m on site, I’m checking things as I go. Answering questions, looking at details, making sure things are lining up the way we planned. For me, this is really how the design holds together in the end.

I’ll share more as Project Martin comes together.

I can tell you that most renovation stress comes from not being able to see how everything will come together.

That’s why we start with a full Design Presentation.

It’s the moment when you see the whole vision for your space — the plans, the fabrics, the rugs, the materials and finishes — all laid out together so you can understand where everything is going.

Most clients say that’s when the project starts to feel calm because all the ideas that were floating around finally settle into a clear direction.

If you’re curious what an interior design project with us looks like, book a Discovery Call and we can talk it through.

I’ve been helping people create homes they love for a long time, and here’s what I can tell you: renovation stress doesn’t always come from having too many choices. It comes from not knowing what’s happening, what’s next, or whether things are being done the way they should be.

That’s the part we take off your plate.

We design your space first, thinking through the layout, how you move through it, and how you actually live in it. Then we select the finishes, materials, furnishings, and all the details that bring it together, always aligned with your wish list, and we talk through decisions so everything feels right. We show up on site to make sure what we planned is actually what’s happening.

You’re not chasing trades.
You’re not overwhelmed with decisions.
You’re not double-checking measurements, placing orders, or tracking deliveries.

We handle the design project from beginning to end, and you get to watch your home come together without it taking over your life.

Thinking about renovating this year? Let’s put a proper plan in place. Get in touch.

When I think about designing for a family, I’m not just thinking about the sofa or the kitchen island.

I’m thinking about where real life actually happens.

Morning chaos in the kitchen.
Homework spread across the dining table.
Quiet coffee moments in the living room.
Kids running through every corner of the house.

I’ve learned that family spaces can live in every single room, so I don’t design spaces in isolation. I design around how that family lives. Their routines, their habits, their version of comfort.

When I let their lifestyle lead the direction, the whole home feels connected and right for them.

And honestly, that’s always the goal.

I hope you’re enjoying a slow, meaningful Family Day — wherever your favourite “family space” happens to be 🤍

One of the most rewarding parts of Project Bronte was watching stress points disappear.

Two bathrooms for six people? No longer a daily scramble. A cramped kitchen forcing every meal into the formal dining room? Solved with a generous island that finally fits the whole family. Thoughtful space planning, durable materials, and hard-wearing fabrics transformed this home into a place that supports ease.

Project Niagara started with one simple goal: elevate the everyday. We used calming neutrals, performance materials, and timeless finishes so the home feels beautiful now and for years to come.

The kitchen’s integrated cabinetry, the sleek black hardware, the warm leather seating, the streamlined bathroom vanity… each choice was made to enhance flow, ease, and comfort.

Nothing is random, and everything has a reason. When design is intentional, the whole home feels lighter, more functional, and so much more “you.”

Project Bronte started with one challenge: the original 80s/90s layout just didn’t work anymore. Kids were sharing bedrooms, mornings were chaotic with only two bathrooms, and the kitchen couldn’t seat everyone.

So we redesigned the entire footprint — adding bedrooms, dividing the kids’ baths, giving parents their own suite, expanding the kitchen, and transforming the old powder/laundry into a hard-working mudroom.

Each space was created for durability: quartz counters, stain-proof upholstery, engineered hardwood, porcelain tile.

Practical, calm, and built to last for a family that lives big.
