Three picnic tables delivered today! 🌻

These aren't flimsy, box-store tables. Each one is built by hand from solid 2x6 lumber, individually measured, cut, assembled and waterproofed right here. Every table also includes an umbrella hole, making them perfect for summer gatherings, backyard BBQs, camps, parks, cottages, and gardens.

We've been using these same tables throughout The Earnest Gardener because they hold up beautifully to weather, muddy boots, kids, garden visitors and everyday life.

I was trying to figure out a way to use the soon-to-be-overwhelming black currant harvest and suddenly remembered the drink we grew up with...Ribena! I cannot wait to try this and see if my children enjoy it as much as we did growing up.

This Blackcurrant Syrup recipe is SO simple to make, and if you grow your own blackcurrants do yourself a favour and make this recipe pronto!

🌱 What a perfect weekend to be in the garden. 🌱

The June full moon has passed, the days are long, the soil is warm, and everything seems to be growing at once.

Tomatoes are settling in, peppers are ready for new homes, flowers are starting to shine, and gardens everywhere are coming to life. Whether you're planting your first container or filling an entire vegetable garden, this is one of those weekends that reminds us why we love gardening.
