Finally fixed it!

The old Mitsubishi Mr. Slim heat pump was installed wrong for 13 years—no 4-inch side clearance (jammed against the wall, blocking airflow per manual) and the electrical disconnect was inaccessible (side touching it, violating Canadian Electrical Code Rule 2-308 for safe working space).

Replaced it with Modern, Sleek, & Efficient Gree Clivia unit—proper clearances all around, disconnect fully accessible, up to code, and ready for winters. Huge improvement!
