This was a project that we completed twice. Once about 10 years ago it was a full finish on the basement including bulkhead framing, subfloor, drywall hang and finish, as well as flooring and trim. Unfortunately water damage last year required some re finishing, but gave us a chance to do some updating, and make the space work for the clients, as well as refresh the look of the flooring, trim, and paint.

This was almost a complete gut of a bathroom in an old farm house. We doubled the size of the shower which was long overdue for the family of 4 who use it. We also put in all new flooring as well as a new vanity and some clever framing and new drywall to give it some character and more functionality. I really enjoyed this project from start to finish.

This was a project from last year. Helped a client by laminating all the ceilings in the lower level of their home with new drywall, to help in the creation of a rental suite. This was to bring the area up to proper fire code and now an extra source of income for them!

Icicle ceiling scraped, sanded and skim coated 3 times. Wall paper border removed, walls fixed up, and fresh coat of paint. 👌

What is a level 5 finish? It is considered the highest quality of drywall finish, composed of three coats of mud after taping, with the final coat being a light layer over the entire drywall surface. To ensure a blemish-free finish, a light bulb and sponge sander are used to check the surface after vacuum sanding. This thin coat of mud provides superior priming and paint finish, as it helps the compound over the joints and paper of the drywall absorb the primer and paint evenly, reducing the appearance of marks in brightly lit situations. Additionally, it fills in any dings or marks from manufacturing or transportation of the drywall itself.
