Work in progress in a series of digital illustrations. Well, mostly just an idea for a series as of now. This is the second so far, don’t like how the first turned out, may do another attempt at that one though. The illustrations explore narrative inheritances of power, domination, and violence. Working titled of the series is “War Games” but this particular work probably titles itself. Keepin’ it light, guys (as always.).

Another side by side of one of my paintings and the original reference photo that inspired it. This painting is titled, “Mister Wolf” because I was thinking about that sort of weird threatening play space that existed in childhood, a frenetic sort of Dionysian mood where friend easily slipped into foe and mischief into cruelty. Or maybe I just had really bad childhood friendships, I dunno 🤷🏻. 36x24 inches and currently on sale through my website for $1,075 CAD.
