Trying out simple shapes for making a strong connection between 2 cylindrical parts in PETG

This was an interesting project for a client who wanted to make a holder for a crucible to vaporize various aromatherapy oils. These steel shapes were only possible to make using SLM technology. We plated some prototypes using gold and bronze (left and right) . The quartz insert was made using CNC.

Ellipsoid Lamp ✨
The inspiration for this project came from bioluminescent deep sea creatures. This luminaire has a spine-like internal structure in its center that supports the entire assembly. It is designed to maximize the reflection of light and the environment.
This project combines both aspects of manufacturing: additive - for the 3D printed spine and subtractive manufacturing for the laser cut plastic disks.
Material used: recycled clear PETG plastic.♻️

LED Sign Hyperwave showcases a balanced interplay of light and shadow. Equipped with an LED color changing light strip, it is sure to catch one’s eye with it’s fluorescent glow and mesmerizing parallax effect. This sign has letters literally popping out with some unique geometric twist to it.
