A week ago today, my brother in law, .krahn80 orphanage Ancla de Amor in Mexico was devastated by a strong Haboob wind storm. It destroyed their solar power system, aquaponics room, equipment and more, as damages are still being assessed. Because of this, the ranch was not safe to live at and he, along with all 35 children, and workers had to find emergency refuge. They are split between 3 homes, and since the whole area was hit hard, they are still dealing with little to no power.

If you would like to help them get back on their feet, please consider purchasing a box (or a few) of assorted baking. ALL proceeds will go directly to help them rebuild, and a new generator for the ranch!

Last Thursday, this powerful storm ripped through my brother in law’s orphanage, Ancla de Amor in Senora Mexico. Because of the extensive damage to their ranch, they’ve had to relocate all of the children and staff for the time being until they are able to rebuild. They are still without power almost a week later, and until yesterday, water was scarce. I will post a newsletter that shares more in my stories.

Last Thursday, this powerful storm ripped through my brother in law’s orphanage, Ancla de Amor in Senora Mexico. Check out this luxurious ensuite reno we finished a few weeks back. Closed off a door, and opened the wall between the existing bathroom and closet to double the square footage. Updated all fixtures and doubled the size of their old shower. In floor heat was installed under the porcelain tile.
We couldn’t leave them without a closet though, so we built a new one on the opposing corner.
