We use a tag printer in the greenhouse that’s waterproof and UV proof. We can print tags, stickers and hanging basket tags. I have the Titan Pro 4 and it prints in black ink. They have other models if you need more comprehensive printing. It comes with software to print barcodes which we use for everything. Tell Todd you heard about it from me 😃

Grow petunias in part to full sun, fertilize with each watering for best results. Fast growing plants like these need regular fertilizer to maintain growth. I had these in my personal yard this year and they were absolutely gorgeous.

Big Day! Getting a cistern installed at the greenhouse. A cistern is an underground water storage tank. We only have above ground storage tanks here, although not a glamorous upgrade it will allow us to collect and hold more water and snow melt from the greenhouse roofs. Here in our climate the tank has to be installed below the frost line, so a deep hole! Been dreaming of this day for years!

New for 2026, Rudbeckia Sunbeckia Graffiti Peach. Rudbeckia are considered annuals here in Alberta, but we have found that if you let the seed mature in the plant they often reseed, not always but it’s fun to see what happens. This is a new colour and more of a double in the Sunbeckia series. It will be on our pre order list!
