After 30 years of hard sun and aging, this long Corrugated Steel yard fence gets its first fresh coats of paint to bring it back to it's original colour and it looks brand new again!

The colour is a Charcoal/Brown type tone called Peary Caribou and I can't seem to get it's name out of my head now, but it is a really nice neutral dark colour!

I get asked often about how to treat water stains in exterior woods. Water stains can be stubborn, seemingly impossible to sand out, and always pop out even more obvious after a new stain is applied to untreated stains. A simple 1:1 solution of cleaning grade vinegar and water, quick sq**rt and a stiff bristle brush will get them out almost instantly and causes no harm to the wood surface or the new stain and finish you apply!

Deeper stains make require a couple applications and as a pleasant secondary benefit, it also helps reduce or remove furry wood grain after pressure washing. This can be used for most types of woods and both exterior and indoor wood furniture stains also. Prepare to smell like a french fry for until the vinegar evaporates!

So much satisfaction in seeing such a nice little project transform into exactly what you expect! This backyard haven deck needed some TLC and a little upgrade to give it that full and completed look. This space will be enjoyed for a very long time and it was a fun project to do right near the end of summer!

With only 16 Days left until the official end of Summer, it doesn't mean we can't squeeze in a few more small outdoor Paint & Stain Projects! The days may be getting shorter and the air a little cooler but there's still a window of opportunity, albeit small, to get yourself on the schedule for some final outdoor Painting and Staining Projects before the snow flies and so you're fresh and ready for when Spring rolls back around.

We're already beginning to fill dates for Indoor Projects as we see Thanksgiving and Christmas creeping up as well. If you have Indoor Painting or Staining you need or want done before the holidays and a houseful of guests, now is the time to start planning and we're here to help!
