Greyish when dry, greenish when wet. A soil buffering agent that does not break down. Prevents compaction, increases water holding capacity, porosity and airflow. Improves soil structure, balances pH and filters out metals and toxins so they cannot harm your plants.

Excellent as a soil additive for aroids and tropicals, succulents and cacti, as a top dressing or for making your own diy PON. 1/8" to 1/4" chip size.

Made with strong, vinyl-coated steel mesh and high-quality New Zealand long-strand sphagnum moss. The last pole you will ever need for your climbing plants. The mesh will last forever and the moss can be easily removed and replaced if needed.

What kind of media is in the plant you just bought?

Nurseries usually have much different growing conditions than our homes, and they can get away with mixes that just don't work for the average house.

This Hoya Australis came potted in pure peat moss, and you can see she's not too happy about it. Pure peat may work in a greenhouse setting where high temps can help dry it out faster, but in a house this will kill it pretty quickly.

Hoyas are epiphytes and they need very well-draining, loose media. Our Aroid Mix is a perfect choice for your hoyas!

Natural insect sprays ready to go! This is our own formulation that we use on all our plants. Instantly kills spider mites, thrips, mealies, scale and aphids. Very effective and replaces harsher chemical sprays. Safe enough to brush your teeth with. Lavender/rosemary natural oils and castile soap. Ten dollars per 1L bottle, contactless pickup in Harewood, Nanaimo :)
