So excited....I'm hoping you'll mark it on your calendars :)

I've been working away in my lovely little studio creating new pieces for this upcoming event!

The most atypical part of this show is that my sweetheart (Steve) will be the person setting it up and....will also be assisting me at the venue.

In fact..for the first couple of days I won't be there at all!

I'll be getting home from Italy on the 26th and Steve has FULL control!

So pop in, say "Hi!" to Steve and buy a painting(or two) his new career as an Art Dealer is on the line ;)

I think that one of the reasons that I love collaging is that it feels familiar. Much like when I'm gathering all of the different textiles whilst decorating a home or selecting all of the finishes for a custom designed house or planning a significant renovation.
Scale, proportion, texture, pattern, color, contrast and an element of surprise...just like a room, a painting requires all of these components as well :)
