Thanks for all the support at the Makers Market yesterday! I was delighted to see so much interest in my dried flower creations!

Thanks also to the organizers, who did a great job promoting and setting up the event, and to my creative neighbour Bloom & Bubbles Roadside stand for doing this market with me!

The tendrils and peeling bark of the grapevine add a lot of character to this cute wreath! Dried wheat and statice bring the colour and texture, and the denim bow adds that touch of charm ✨

Embracing nature’s beauty with this all natural wreath. Grapevine base, dried flowers, jute and raffia ties, and upcycled denim ribbon 🎀

All steps of my wreaths involve my personal involvement, from harvesting and bending the grapevines, to sowing, growing, picking and drying the flowers, to diverting textile waste by repurposing well-worn clothing into ribbons and embellishments 🌿🌍💚

Calling all Nanaimo-area crafters, wreath-makers, florists, resin-artists… get your dried flowers in time for holiday gift-making!

As you know, my flower stand took a pause this year, but I have several dried flowers available!

Dried-flower sale will be updated at weatheredkettle.com shop soon, please DM if interested in the meantime!

All flowers grown organically in my, and other, Nanaimo area gardens. Hung to dry.

Order pick-up only (sorry no shipping at this time).
