Todays post is all about crew appreciation. The people who work tirelessly, in every condition, outside getting stuck into what’s definitely not the easiest job in the world. Without these guys, none of it would be possible. And we have the best crew around (maybe I’m a little biased). With this group of guys, I can confidently say, West Kootenay arborist are capable of taking on just about any tree related job you can throw at us. The level of experience and hard work from these guys is off the charts and I can happily say I’m super proud, love and respect everyone who’s ever donned a West (Best) Kootenay Arborist T-shirt.

This Particular job in the pictures was from a recent job removing two Large Spruce trees. One was heavily leaning and beginning to pose a threat and the other had destroyed the fence and shed foundations. We safely dismantled them, removed the debris and ground out two 5ft wide stumps to make way for the new fence.

We’ve also been doing lots of our regular kind of work. Removing large, difficult, hazard trees, and smaller pruning work.
As well as brushing up on our skills and keeping relevant by attending work related courses and training up our current full time staff, to help us serve you better and keep safe while doing so!
Lastly, we’ve finally got our trucks branded up and looking great. Keep an eye out for us around town and be sure to say hi! 🌳

This year has been off to a busy start. With lots of hedges suffering snow damage from the winter, we have been getting stuck into fixing them up and making them look great again. Here’s a couple of before and afters from a recent Cedar hedge in Montrose.
