2022 summer feels like it was just yesterday, especially with the amazing weather we've been having lately! We are very excited for yet another season! Nothing makes us happier as horticulturalists to bring nature and people closer together.

We are Today's Tomorrow Horticulture Services seeking motivated and experienced individuals for a landscaping and gardening position for the 2021 season. We are hiring one Full-Time position (effective from April 1st to November 31st, depending on weather), as well as a Full-Time Student position (April 1st - August 31st). We operate in the York Region area and other close by regions. Training is provided. Please do not apply without experience.

Job Description:

· Deadheading flowers

· Pruning, hedging, trimming bushes and trees

· Installation of soil, mulch and aggregates

· Lawn Mowing

· Using handheld power tools and heavy machinery like hedgers, string trimmers, lawn mowers and tillers (Training provided)

· Installation of garden beds, flower baskets, hedges and trees

· General property maintenance

Job Requirements:

· Ontario Secondary School Diploma

· Post Secondary Education is an asset (not required)

· 1-2 years of experience in garden and maintenance tools (hedge trimmers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, pushing lawn mower) is required.

· A G2 driver's license is an asset

· Must be able to perform heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs.)

Workplace and Skillset Expectations:

· Highly driven and motivated individual

· Exceptional at teamwork and leadership skills

· Always seeking to expand their horizons

· Maintains a formal and professional presence at the workplace and around clients at all times

-Leading crew with maintenance goals and projects
-Close communication with clients and owners
-Deadheading flowers
-Pruning, hedging, trimming bushes and trees
-Installation of soil, mulch and aggregates
-Lawn Mowing
-Using handheld power tools and heavy machinery like hedgers, string trimmers, lawn mowers and tillers (Training provided)
