Repair Only!! We didn’t build or install these stairs or railings. We only completed the repair & colour matched the stain. A combination of different issues combined to cause this handrail to separate at all of the joints.
We repaired the joints, sanded the handrail and blended the stain to match the existing stain.

Here are some Before & After Pictures of a white oak capping job we completed. We veneered the stringers and risers to be painted, we installed white oak treads, posts & handrails with round metal spindles to complete the look.

Before & After Photos 🪚🔨

We removed the basement carpet grade stair & ball top railing with a new piano style stair with red oak treads. Red oak post with cap & black metal spindles.

We did these stairs for .ca . They removed all the walls to open everything up!

We removed the dated looking bullnose on the bottom stair, veneered all of the stringers and risers to be painted and capped the treads in red oak.

We capped the removed wall in red oak and installed bevel top posts, square profile handrail and metal spindles.

We also installed raw red oak hardwood on the landing to be stained to match the treads.

These stairs are in the process of being stained and painted by 🖌️

We built and installed these stairs for . For the railing we went with a router top post, square profile handrail & round metal spindles for a nice clean look 👌👌

Progress Photos 🔨🪚

We removed the carpet runner & old railing. We were able to save the treads and sand them back down to raw oak. We installed new posts, continuous straight handrail with metal spindles to give a nice clean look 👌👌

The treads will be stained to match the hardwood flooring, the stringers and risers will get a fresh white coat of paint 🖌️
