TWO DIRECTORS REQUIRED FOR NORTH BAY HYDRO SERVICES’
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
North Bay Hydro Services Inc. (Services) is seeking two dynamic individuals, with specific legal or human
resources expertise or extensive knowledge in energy related initiatives, to join the Company Board of
Directors. Services is an Ontario Business Corporation and the unregulated affiliate of North Bay Hydro
Distribution Limited. The mission of Services is to be the preferred supplier of energy and energy related
products across the Nipissing district, increasing capacity to work throughout Ontario. To learn more about

The following key responsibilities and desired qualifications are what Services is looking for in a director.
Responsibilities:
• Participation in the development of policy and major decision-making of the business.
• Help guide and mediate Board actions with respect to organization activities and governance
concerns.
• Help develop the annual and long-term business plan.
• Preparation in advance, attendance at, and participation in all regular meetings.
• Preservation of confidentiality in all situations.
• Provide leadership, direction, and inspiration to the business.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with the Ontario Business Corporations Act.
• Experience with corporate management and governance.
• Experience in the growth of a business.
• Experience with risk management.
• Specific director training, a director designation, or experience acting as a director.
• Strong collegiality.
Specific skills:
• Legal or Human Resources expertise, or extensive knowledge in energy related initiatives.
Preference will be given to candidates that have the specific skills requested.
