Three days, three great causes!

Mondays: Ride for Jack. Every year we attend The Ride for Jack, a charitable bike ride in honor of Jack Lyons, that raises funds to help One Kids Place. We are proud to support such a meaningful event that brings our community together for a fantastic cause. It is an honor to contribute to the efforts that provide essential resources for children and families in our region. We hope to see you all out there on the trail supporting this amazing initiative!

Wednesdays: Chipping for the Cure. Every jobsite that our big pink chipper visits, we donate $5 to the North Bay - Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. We are committed to this cause and also participate in the run every year. We believe in the power of community action and are proud to turn our daily operations into an opportunity to support life-saving research and patient services.

Fridays: Support our Troops & Vets. We stand behind all currently serving military members, as well as the brave veterans who dedicated their lives to protecting the freedoms we cherish today. We are deeply grateful for your service and sacrifice, and we are committed to honoring those who have defended our country. Thank you for your courage and dedication.

As we move into the warmer months, our local turtles will soon be emerging from their aquatic homes to find the perfect spots to lay their eggs. Unfortunately, they often choose areas near our local roadways, which puts them at significant risk. We want to urge all of our neighbors and clients in Corbeil and the surrounding areas to please keep a watchful eye out for turtles crossing the road this season. Even a small moment of extra caution while driving can help ensure these important members of our ecosystem stay safe.

If you see a turtle on the move, please slow down and give them plenty of space. If you think it is safe to do so, feel free to help them across the road, but always remember to move them in the same direction they were heading. Let's work together to keep our community and our wildlife safe! Please share this post with your friends and neighbors to help spread the word to other drivers in the area.

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day administrative tasks, communicate professionally with clients and crews, and take initiative in a fast-paced work environment.

This position is ideal for someone who learns quickly, works well with minimal supervision, and is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
Schedule jobs, meetings, and appointments
Coordinate communication between clients and crews
Assist with daily administrative and organizational tasks
Maintain calendars and scheduling systems
Follow up with customers as needed
Help keep operations running smoothly and efficiently

Story time ! Hold onto your pants it’s a long one

My names Paul Hudson Rancourt I have worked for Eagle Tree on and off about 15 years or so as an arborist . Currently I am head of training , and I do most of our media content. Nice to meet you all !

2 years or so ago I began having seizures , it was pretty awful and ended up grounding me from climbing and from what I thought it essentially had ended my career as an arborist . I’d love to say I handle it with grace and poise , However I did not I spiralled something fierce out of anger for being robbed of the career I loved so much. There were several months I didn’t do much of anything mostly just sobbed and felt sorry for myself. From my perspective my world had essentially ended and I was pretty well done.

Luckily for me my best friend and boss Jonathan Crockford pulled me out of my slump and convinced me to return to work (I didn’t not make it easy , sorry about that ) as a trainer and to handle our social media accounts . This was brand new position , he pretty well made a job that fit my illness to ensure I had an income and went out of his way to take care of me and my family . I owe a great thanks to him and the entire eagle tree staff for helping out and supporting me in my dire time.

I am so very thankful that he went through all the trouble he did to do this , over the past two years I found new passion in teaching and was able to get married and my wife and I purchased our first home. All of this made possible by eagle tree adapting a position to fit me , they did not have to nor where they required to do any of this . They did it all to help an employee and a friend out . I am eternally grateful for this I cannot thank you guys enough for pushing me and making all of this possible .

I am proud to say that today I got my drivers license back and it’s looking like next week I will be able to return to my old job as an arborist ! All thanks to the help of Eagle Tree and especially thanks to Jonathan for all the support and for just dealing with me when I was a mess.

I would also like to thank my wife Brenda Rancourt for always being by my side .

So that is all for now, I just wanted to make a post so people could have some insight too just how much Eagle Tree not only cares for the community but also care for it’s employees, I love this place.
