GROWING TOGETHER — ONE W**D, ONE SEED, ONE SMILE AT A TIME

A garden doesn’t grow on its own — it takes care, teamwork, consistency and a whole lot of love (and sometimes sweat under the hot summer sun 😅).

Today, two of our Super Ability Crew members rolled up their sleeves and dug into the dirt. From weeding with focus and purpose (go Sammy & Aiden!) to cheering on the broccoli, cabbage, mint kale that’s bursting with pride, every moment was a reminder of what happens when a community tends to something with heart.

Whether it’s planting, weeding, watering, or simply being present, every action helps this space bloom — not just with flowers and veggies, but with belonging and joy.

Here’s to dirt under our nails, and the power of growing together.

Green thumb alert

Yesterday, our very own Puneet rolled up her sleeves and got right into the soil, working hard in the vegetable garden—and wow, what a natural!

There’s something truly special about connecting with nature—feeling the earth in your hands, nurturing new life, and watching it grow. It’s not just about veggies; it’s about patience, responsibility, and the quiet joy that comes from caring for something bigger than yourself. 🌿

Ms Judith reminds us that gardening is more than a chore—it’s a bond with nature and a powerful way to build confidence, reduce stress, and grow a little goodness (both inside and out).

So please join the crew and feel the earth, perhaps try a vegetable or herb.

At the heart of our Project Autism Community Garden, it’s not just about plants — it’s about people.

Here, two of our amazing Super Ability Crew members are nurturing more than just soil. They’re weeding with focus, planting with purpose, and caring with pure heart.

Every seed they touch is a reminder: when you garden with love, you grow more than flowers — you grow belonging, joy, and community.

Green Thumbs Update

Yesterday, our crew got their hands dirty (in the best way!) at community garden. We dug in, turned the soil, and gently planted our seedlings—each one a small promise of growth. It was teamwork rooted in care, patience, and a whole lot of love for nature.

Saving the bees is our priority!

These buzzing cuties are a big part of keeping our world healthy and full of life.

Here are a few examples of planting flowers like lavender, sunflowers, or sage, wildflowers to help them find food and shelter.

Every flower you plant is a little act of kindness for the earth — and for the bees!

Let’s grow a garden of hope, one bloom at a time.

Community green thumbs announcement

Today marked the end of another season for our green thumbs. Super Ability Crew was out in the community garden, collecting seeds and pulling annuals to wrap things up for fall.

It’s always a team effort, and it feels great to care for our space and set the stage for new growth next year!

Aiden Lee and Nick rolled up their sleeves and got busy helping out by weeding out those pesky critters that have taken over (as Aiden says)!

Together, they cleared the garden, making space for new growth and showing that teamwork can truly make the garden bloom. 🌸

There’s nothing better than connecting with nature and lending a hand to keep our green spaces beautiful. Amazing work, Super Ability Crew!
