2025 was a year of milestones for both business and our family. We watched our youngest graduate, we grieved the loss of our dear dog, we had the opportunity to travel to Europe and beyond and we had the honour of working with some great clients and create some beautiful things! Thank you for entrusting us with your home and we look forward to forging many new relationships and projects in 2026!

Just one last post of the grad blur that wrapped up a few weeks ago. Reflecting on the good and bad days that led to this joyous one and pausing to choose gratitude for so many of the blessings! Our dear friend Rachelle McElheran Photography drove all the way down from Edmonton to capture this moment in time for us. While I reflect on my daughter’s recent grad, I reflect on friends like Rachelle whose husband Phil has been one of my closest and treasured friends since my high school grad…grateful for his family and grateful to see those deep friendships formed in Tayah’s high school years too. So glad we had a chance for these great shots of my family that will be long treasured on the walls of our home!

Our canyon meadows project continues to come to life with finishing, paint, millwork, tile and the likes. We are rolling ahead of schedule and more than happy with the results! It’s gonna be a stunner!!

Things are really coming to life at our canyon meadows project…from an all new exterior to an amazing vaulted main floor with energy efficient 2lb spray foam behind the drywall…clients are making all the right decisions with this one! Stayed tuned!

Tell me, what fun is it to have a little church and not host anything? It’s no fun at all! We had a great night to celebrate the production of a new album from our friends The Eisenhauers! It was a beautiful night of community and great music…it’s our hope to do this every summer. Join us for the next one!! P.s. we do weddings too😉

And finally, as the sun sets on another year, I wish to mention an organization that I have become obsessed with over the years…Shelter! If I have any sort of relationship with people, they all know about it…that’s because I won’t stop talking about it! Much of what I do is because I love people, whether it’s people that entrust me to perform work on their homes or people that I am blessed to partner with on their home in El Salvador. I know we weee all made for community with each other and it is serving one another that makes this world more enjoyable and brings us closer to our purpose! We are so fortunate to have clients that entrust us with their homes especially when they don’t even live in the same country! This is an amazing project in canyon meadows that I will try to update more regularly. It’s a full gut right down to the studs, new windows, new exterior, all new interior layout, new mechanical systems and even vaulting 2/3rds of the main floor ceiling! This home is going to be gorgeous at completion. A big job but when you have great trades, it makes light work! Big or small, we do it all!!

Some before and after shots of this acreage transformation! The living room was longing for a fireplace, a new closet and lockers in the front entry, opening up the kitchen/living room by removing a wall and a full kitchen reface with new brick style backsplash and counters has given this space all that it was lacking! The ability to do all this while a super active family still resided in the home was a goal we didn’t take for granted! Grateful for another amazing transformation completed weeks before Christmas!

We love great referrals and never back down from a challenge! When these great clients sold their home quicker than planned and bought this acreage that needed some work, we jumped to it and got this main floor area completed in less than 2.5 months time from first meeting them!! When you have a great team of trades, you can turn around a kitchen, flooring, paint and whole new fireplace and so much more in record time! We are always happy to make your dreams come to life!
