Where the original house roof meets the later addition. At least here there is only tar paper and not shakes and shingles under the tin roof…but holy crowolee there are a lot of cedar shakes nails to remove.

Hoping to have this side of the house sheeted and moisture shield on by end of the weekend!

Well got the first section of roof ready for shingles…only 5 more sections!

Well, now that I am into roof mode (thanks weather 🙄) might as well get the truss ends done and fascia board on. No gutters on this house. With all the covered roofs water can come off far away from the foundation and directly into the landscaping.

Boy, these shingles were completely disintegrated before this tin roof was put on and this is the only section of house ...

Boy, these shingles were completely disintegrated before this tin roof was put on and this is the only section of house that has all these layers, which is why it probably blew off. But the shiplap underneath is in perfect condition we’re gonna put 5/8 plywood on top of this and roof ice membrane on the entire roof before shingles.

The soil is amazing on the property but man alive, soooo many rocks….

Might as well figure out how to salvage them for landscaping!
