So thankful to be able to help bring certain visions to life!

This customer had started a demo on this spare room ensuite during the pandemic and simply just never got around to it. They had almost everything to complete this project laying around but never any time to get to it! That's when we got in touch.
The first thing these customers had me do was put some beadboard up on a few walls in a different room and once I finished I made sure to set all of the tiny off cuts aside in hopes to have enough for wainscoting for the bathroom project. I cut the leftovers into the appropriate height and into as many small sections as I could (see last picture) to try to salvage as much as possible. Low and behold, there was just enough for the perimeter of the room, including behind the vanity.
Little things like saving some beadboard from one job to make a wainscoting on another, at only the expense of a bit of labour, are the things I love doing.

Throwing away useful scraps is the last thing I ever want to see!

This entailed a complete bathroom gut, some proper framing, insulation and a v***r barrier along a super moldy foundation wall, updated plumbing (corrected the hot and cold directions and made sure the spout height was within new parameters), moisture resistant drywall, mudding, paint, installing floors, the drop ceiling, a toilet, vanity and vinyl shower followed by an updated paint job on all of the walls, windows and doors in the room and kitchenette attached to it.

Had fun with this one and am looking forward to the next!

Custom closet build.

This project was intended to be a "quick and cost effective solution" to the lack of storage in this room. The shelves are built specifically for certain storage bins to fit perfectly into while still having easy access to them and doubles as privacy since the window behind overlooks the livingroom and the room acts as a guest room.

I call this build "IKEA 2.0" 😂

Always love being handed a task and tackling it to the best of my abilities. This project started off as a big pile of melamine and an idea!

Another kitchen brought to life!

I had some left over material from this job so decided to paint the bathroom vanity for the customer too!

It's time to start planning your wedding for the spring/summer! I build unique sets for weddings, including arbors to be kept and placed in your garden after your big day.

Individual pieces are individually priced and are for a TWO day (48hr) rental.

Entire set: $550

Arbor (Includes drapery and choice of colour): $300
Easle: $50
Bird houses & picture frames (10 houses, 4 frames): $150
Tables & benches (6 unique tables, 2 kids benches): $250
+ many more decorations like candle lit mason jars and burlap.

The arbour assembles and disassembles easily with no need for tools.

Set up and take down can be arranged.

I will also gladly build any vision you have for your wedding and can make any type of modification to current rented items. Any custom order will be priced differently.

Had lots of fun with this one!

This customer wanted to start modernizing their kitchen without spending a fortune. So, they decided to have their cabinets painted!

After three full days of sanding every bit of this kitchen and a day of cleaning.. it was time for paint! The fun part of this job is that the customers were away the entire week I had spent working on it. And I was lucky enough to have finished just before they got home for the reveal. It was a tight deadline and absolutely worth the long days to see their reaction!

I used scratch resistant paint and a paint sprayer to make sure the paint was durable and had a "factory" look to them.

Countertops are next up on the list for this kitchen!

So incredibly thankful to have had the opportunity to work on such a beautiful piece.

This customer decided to have her beautiful dinning table re-finished not knowing exactly what it would look like since when they purchased it, it was black. After checking it out, I could see a few of the natural grains on the bottom side which I knew would make for a beautiful hardwood table. I knew it would be nice regardless, but wow. The second I started stripping the stain I was mindblown. All of this beauty had been hiding under stain for almost a decade before they made this call.

I decided to finish the table with Odie's Oil, which always brings out the best in such beautiful wood. It looks great, its all natural, creates a super smooth surface and leaves an amazing smell because of it's ingredients.

Needless to say, this came out much better than I ever anticipated. I loved seeing their reaction. Smiles all around. Except for when I told them I didn't want to let it go 😂

Garage entry cut in!

This customer was tired of having to walk around their house to get to the garage so they decided to have an entry installed.

Started by mapping out a good position for the door, moved onto cutting the hole, re-framing with new king and jack studs (this wall not being load bearing made for a simple cut in), and finally installing the door!

Being someone that is always concerned about safety, I made sure to build some nice solid steps to finish the job!

Oak Mid-Century Modern coffee table built entirely from reclaimed material.

This project started off as a few 8ft, 3x4's salvaged from waste and after some patience, designing and building it came out better than I had hoped.

The legs are also easily removable for safe and easy transport.
