Crews were doing something a little different on Thursday. We just completed a dealership in Marmora and the final task was making the front entrance light using 2 barn beams supplied by the builder. You can see the entire process below. We will now have the light inspected and stamped!

Another day, another service install! Today we were swapping out an old overhead central metering service and installing all the new lines underground. Our client simply wanted to neaten up his driveway and create some curb appeal.

200 Amp service install for one of our builders complete with an automatic transfer switch to hookup to the future generator which will run the whole house in the event of a power outage! We also supplied an additional conduit for a future shop/barn that will be built.

Last week one of our crews went to an emergency call for a tree that had fallen on an overhead hydro line. Due to it being on private property it becomes our responsibility to get it all ready for hydro one to turn back on! Here are some before and after pictures.

Our story begins in 1960 when Leonard Ripley moved to Ontario from Nova Scotia and opened up a small family run electrical company. In 1983, Leonard’s son Raymond began working with the company out of high school. As years went by the family business added different members of their team including Kevin Holman, son in law of Leonard, brother in law of Raymond. The company continued to grow and create a name for themselves all around southern Ontario. In 2004, we suffered a great loss to the family and company as Leonard passed on. At this point in time, Raymond and Kevin decided take all Leonard taught them and continue on as R.A Ripley Electric Limited. They have come through all of the lows and highs of owning a company and today Raymond and Kevin own a highly reputable company with thousands of past and returning customers along with many new. From Leonard, to Raymond and Kevin and to all of their employees, the number one goal has always been providing high quality work and service to our customers and with that is how they created R.A Ripley Electric Limited, a well known and reputable electrical company providing services from the GTA to Northern Kawarthas and everywhere in between!
