Chris took the time to inspect the attic for a long time before providing a fair and exhaustive quote, providing key explanations. Throughout the process, he was available to answer all our questions. The whole blow-in work was done in 3 hours and the team left the house completely clean. Strongly recommend."

Great review from Stephen... "Koala insulation did a great job insulating my attic. They did great work and a great job cleaning up after the job was done. During installation they found what might have been asbestos. They stopped worked. Guided me thru the process to get it tested and thankfully it turned out to not be asbestos.

I had an excellent experience with Koala Insulation of Durham. From the initial consultation to the completion of the job, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They took the time to explain the insulation options, answered all my questions, and completed the work efficiently and neatly.

Great review from Sean... "What started out as just an inquiry about the attic insulation a few months ago turned into a whole bunch of problems. The whole underside of the roof was covered in black mold. So I started to search for restoration companies and insulation companies to figure out what was the cause of the mold. I had several companies in to take a look and give me quotes and to get some answers about the cause, but all I got was a bunch of assumptions, not enough air flow, some said water damage. Chris from Koala Insulation returned my call and after about a 20 minute conversation telling him all about the problems we were having he sent out a service guy to take a look. Doug was awesome, he was the only one who actually went up into the attic to take a look around and actually found out what the issue was. The builder completely blocked the soffit at the front side of the house . He showed me pictures. And told me some options about what could be done.
Chris sent me a quote for the insulation and he even went out of his way to contact a roofing company that they deal with to inquire about how we can fix the air flow problem. We had the mold removed then had the roofers come and install an edge vent. Then we had Koala insulation come and remove all the old insulation and fill it back up, they also installed baffles in the joists to prevent the soffits from being covered by the new insulation, and put a seal on the attic hatch to prevent air loss. Doug and his team were in and out in less than a day, they cleaned the place up like they had never even been there.
I would 100% recommend Koala Insulation, not only for the fantastic work that they did, but also Doug and his team for going that extra step to help figure out the issue and not just pop his head through the attic hatch. Lastly Chris was super helpful throughout our whole project, not just with the insulation side of it, he went out of his way to help resolve the issue causing the mold. He was able to give me answers that 4 or 5 other companies could not. Super happy to have all this complete and grateful that I had Chris and his team to help me through it."
