3 professional tiles companies told the owner to beat it.
Well... 42 mitres. All done by hand. No wet saw big enough to cut the length. Each tile is worth $550. Not one person would take the responsibility of the insane amount of noticing, mitiring, cupping the tile then hand polishing edges.
We'll this guy right here, that's right, ME didn't back down from the challenge and am 3 days deep into this project amd making some serious headway!
To most people who don't know you may think this is easy. Let me tell you, hands down it's one of the most intricate, difficult cutting and angles I've dealt with. This is not for amateurs out there. The vein matching....the finishing work. Damn!!!
It's gonna look mint when done. The 2x6 framing in the middle that you see is a gas L shape insert. Colour controlled flames. Turning out beautiful!😎
