These had me in my feelings. my sweet Mia š§øšøš¤
I grew up with brothers, and there wasnāt a day I didnāt wish for a sister⦠a female companion. I prayed for years to have both a boy and a girl, and they are my answered prayer.
Yet this post feels a little hard to share.
I see everything: the breastfeeding body that doesnāt quite fit the dress, the belly that grew life and didnāt ābounce backā the second time, the grown-out roots that didnāt get done in time, the softness, the changes.
Other women look so flawless after birth, but I deal with my insecurities and post it anyway. Because I am a boy and a girl mom and I am so grateful I was granted that storyline. My body created, carried, and delivered two beautiful, healthy babies. I want to record it, share it and remember it.
Thereās a version of me thatās working toward feeling stronger and regaining my health. And thereās a version of me right now that is learning to be present, to accept, and to appreciate what is. I could wait to book the shoot. When I am stronger and have lost some of the baby weight, but this beautiful tiny version of her will be gone. Time goes by so fast when you have babies.
So Iām choosing to see this season for what it is, full circle imperfect and deeply beautiful.
Donāt wait. Book the shoot at š«¶āØš
ā¦and I promise there is a design project to share on the way, itās a good one! But for now my life is still mostly baby giggles and snuggles in between studio shifts, always cooking, forever cleaning my house yet itās never clean and sweaty workouts.
š· thank you
