Kinaxis opened a new, 170,000-square-foot, five-story headquarters in the Kanata West Business Park in Ottawa in 2022. This modern building was designed to accommodate its growing workforce and features amenities like a gym, cafeteria, and performance stage to support employees. It is located at 3199 Palladium Drive.

There’s now an Aqua-Tots Swim School serving the community of Orleans! Located at Place d'Orléans in Ottawa’s east, this new facility boasts a larger pool than Aqua-Tots Kanata and has nineteen change rooms, nine showers and hair drying stations for ten children. Converting a former retail space into a swim school took the efforts of a dedicated team of owners, pool designers, consultants and contractors, all of whom contributed their best over eighteen months to have the facility ready for the 2025 autumn season.

Congratulation to owner Rebecca Swedlove and all members of the Aqua-Tots team as they bring the Aqua-Tots experience to families in Ottawa’s east.

MCROBIE is proud to be part of the team that assisted Altea Fitness and Wellness in transforming a former Canadian Tire store into Ottawa’s largest go-to fitness facility. The opening of the 129,000 sf Altea is the culmination of almost two years of involvement with a great team of owners, fitness experts, consultants and contractors. Besides the facelift given to the building at the corner of Carling and Clyde, the building was renovated to include a cinema-style spin studio, boxing studio, Pilates studio, hot yoga studio, pickleball courts and more. The club also provides members with wellness facilities such as a recovery studio, steam and sauna rooms, and lounge areas to chill out with a refreshment from the smoothie bar.

But the work is not done! We look forward to the spring opening of a multi-pool aquatic centre located on the same site.

We're excited to be working with Altea Active to bring a new hub for wellness and social activities to the former Canadian Tire location on Carling Avenue in Ottawa.

Massive locations are planned for across the country for the innovative fitness/social concept that launched in 2019.
