At least I think it's awesome. Lol. I've spent hours and hours this month trying to do what I can on a limited budget to make my website better.

I was hoping this would help increase traffic and also increase conversion rates.

The website's not only a convenient place to check out the products I carry and do some research, but it's also a convenient place you can actually shop on just like any other online store.

I had an interview with an apartment building that is one of the big players here in this small town.

There are basically three major real estate moguls in this town of 22,000 people who own most of the rental units.

When I applied I thought I would get an apartment with this position. The pay was barely over minimum wage but I thought with an apartment that could give me a leg up.

I just can't believe that this company that charges so much for rent for very basic living units is paying their staff so little.

I said no to continuing the interview after I learned that. I have never really turned down a job before. I've always worked whatever job to survive until I became an entrepreneur and then I cleaned homes and built my dream for years while also using debt to keep trying to grow.

I'm not really in a position to turn down work but at the same time I'm trying to have faith for one of the first times in my life that things will be okay. I want the summer with my son. I have some help at the store now that my vendors are doing hours and that's been really nice for the last two months to have some days "off" but but as an entrepreneur you're never really off..

I will survive and I can say no to things that don't make sense for me. I am still counting my blessings everyday and trying to use my business to build a better tomorrow for me and as many people around me as possible.

Did another day of on the road marketing yesterday as I try and blitz this area with the post card flyers I made for the store front and the online store.

This time I went to Wiarton to my friends cafe

They just redid their front and it looks fabulous. They made me such a good cajun chicken sandwich and chai latte. I wish I could have that chiai latte everyday. Soo good and so was the sandwich!

I put a few more out on some community boards in Wiarton and also Sauble such as?

Found a cute new iced drinks RV along the strip. They are also making a RC car park for kids! I can't wait to take my son there this summer.

I don't know if doing this will make a difference for my store but I am enjoying doing it! There are so many great spots in the Grey Bruce Region and so many kind, wonderful people here!

Started my first town that I am blitzing with some postcard flyers I made for the store/website!

I had fun killing two birds with one stone today, bringing my son out and about while doing some marketing.

I was really impressed with how nice everyone was about letting me put flyers out.

I was able to put some ,(They have amazing beer, tried the scotch ale and even got to play games with my son that they have there) the , (I would love to stay there. Just gorgeous) and the coffee house. (Such a cool vibe and got my son a tahini oatmeal cookie that he loved!)

I hope this helps drive more traffic to both my website and the store front. I think next will be Sauble!
