Did some retting on the balance of 2025 harvest. Had 10 pools full. After 7 days , we laid them out to dry. Just brought them in and bundled them for FibreFest workshops in September.

Not quite a week and we have little cotyledons popping up. Also a walk through by our local deer.

The Pakenham Horticultural Society is pleased to have Cavadelo Flax Garden talk to us on “Just The Flax” an informative talk on a local venture, growing and harvesting flax near Pakenham.
