Andrea is very community minded and wants to represent the interests of all constituents not just those in her ward. This is the kind of forward thinking needed on council willing to listen and then make informed decisions.

Spent the morning in downtown Paris, Ontario — early enough to snag a great parking spot 👍

I walked the Downtown Dig to see the progress first‑hand and listened to shoppers, diners, residents & business owners.

Even though Paris isn’t my ward, Council decisions affect the whole County of Brant, so hearing concerns from across communities is important.

Key issues raised included:

- Construction fatigue
- Worries about future Broadway St. gridlock during the next phase of construction
- Reduced street parking upon construction completion
- Many questions and concerns about the Bawcutt Centre & recently announced partnership
- And the Brant County Sports Complex investment $$$, but still without a pool.

Shopped at:
- The Sales Decorating Centre, open early to serve Contractors & clients & viewed their amazing mural (pictured).
Visited John M. Hall Linens, and Rousseau Rare Vintage Finds — each adding to the character of downtown.

This week's Downtown Paris, Ontario guessing game was a tricky one, thank you to everyone who joined the fun!

We said the clue was in the 'books' and it was, because they're wallpaper sample books and the answer is: Sales Decorating Centre; a small and mighty, fourth generation business which has been in downtown Paris for decades.

Wallpaper, paint, DIY supplies, home decor, and many more items to beautify your home - inside and out! Sales Decorating Centre is a staple in our small town and always worth a visit; open six days a week, Monday to Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM at 42 Grand River St North.
