Due to the cost of commercial insurance we will not be opening our doors to the public next year. All sales will be online and delivered to town. Due to the lack of interest we won’t be bringing in trees, shrubs or fruit trees.
We will have over 100 irises for sale and as they bloom we will post them online.
All the best for a healthy, happy and safe holiday season. See you next year!!

As we wait for winter to descend down the mountain tops my thoughts turn to spring and next year’s greenhouse offerings.
I recently asked if anyone was interested in acquiring Haskap berries and heard nothing back. I looked at my supplier this week and they are already sold out for next year.
If you are interested let me know and I’ll start a list.
After looking at what I had left at the end of this year I will be reducing my availability again.
Next year I will continue to offer hybrid cucumbers but I’m reducing the varieties to tomatoes and squash. If there’s anything you really would like let me know now.
Since Covid people have discovered the joy of gardening with the result that seeds sell out very early. The sooner you tell me what you want the better the chance I can get the seeds.
I will have well over 100 irises for sale this spring. Keep an eye out for early spring sales.
Keep warm.

Is anyone interested in buying Haskap berry bushes next spring? Please let me know. I won’t order without some interest. Be aware you need two for pollination.

No one?

No one?

I’m wondering if anyone would be interested in buying some Haskap bushes. It wouldn’t be until late spring. I’m reluctant to invest a fair amount of money without some interest from people. Let me know. Be aware that you have to have two varieties for pollination or you won’t get fruit. I got eight bushes two years ago and had quite a bit of fruit this year.

A huge thanks to everyone who came out and bought plants. We will be back next year as long as we live that long lol.
Next year we will concentrate more on veggies and a few flowers. We found most people are buying food with a few looking for flowers. I will now be concentrating on seeding perennial plants for next year.
We’re open for appointments. Just message us and we can arrange a time. I can also bring plants into town when I’m working Tuesday through Thursday.
Have a great summer and I’m always happy to help with any questions or concerns.
Happy gardening.

This is the last weekend we’re open to the public. Still available for sales by appointment. Just send us a message. Open Saturday to Monday at 6pm. If we’re not in the greenhouse please come and knock on the door of the house.
Still have tomatoes, sweet red peppers, squash, hybrid cucumbers both eating and pickling, zucchini, wave pansies, some wave petunias, night scented stocks, geraniums, red sunflowers, Tagates marigolds, giant marigolds and a few Durango marigolds and French Red Cherry marigolds, dahlias and a few zinnias.
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported this local grower. We appreciate it and will be back next year.
I can still bring plants into town during the week.
I do have a small selection of perennials and will have a better selection next year. I have lavender, catnip, lime sedum, blue fescue grass, larkspur, and Alyssum Basket of Gold. I will have some Oh Canada irises in August and September.
2981 Imler Road, Parson. First left over the hill past the rest area. There will be signs.
It’s a nice place to be in the rain!

I got over 30 reactions on one of my posts last week! Thanks everyone for your support! 🎉

This is the perfect weather to plant. Cool and wet conditions allow the plants to overcome the stress of planting and the rain settles the roots before the sun comes out again.
Still lots of time to grow! Figure this late start we should have until the end of September before we get the first frost.
Even if the first frost comes in early September we have all of July and August. Time for squash and tomatoes to produce.
Still some tomatoes that need homes.
Squash are $2 today. Blue Hubbard, Acorn, yellow zucchini, crookneck, Red Kuri, Butternut, Spaghetti and others. The hybrid zucchini and cucumber are $4 but worth it!
Still have wave pansies, alyssum, lobelia and lots of marigolds.
Open at 10 until 6. By appointment during the week and I’ll bring to town Tuesday through Thursday. Next weekend is the last one.
