Set on a lovely, forested property near Pembroke, this 4,600 sq. ft. Modern Craftsman home was designed to be bright, welcoming, and highly functional for a busy family lifestyle.

The open-concept heart of the home features a spacious kitchen with two islands, a large dining area for hosting family and friends, and a cozy great room with a cathedral ceiling and see-through fireplace shared with the adjacent den. Expansive windows throughout the home frame the surrounding forest and fill the interior with natural light.

Purpose-designed spaces—including offices, craft rooms, a sewing room, and even a commercial canning kitchen—support the homeowners’ hobbies and creative pursuits.

Since this home is designed without a basement, thoughtful storage solutions are integrated throughout the home to ensure everything has its place.

As promised, the interiors of our latest waterfront home design!

The front entry opens to a bright, airy, open-concept living space where a spectacular view of the Ottawa River is the main attraction. The great room features Craftsman-inspired timber ceiling details and a soaring stone fireplace, creating a cozy yet elegant gathering space, complemented by a welcoming dining area ideal for hosting extended family gatherings. The adjoining kitchen balances function and craftsmanship, with a generous island, abundant cabinetry, and a discreet butler’s pantry for additional storage and preparation.

Off the dining area, a light-filled sunroom with its own fireplace offers a perfect spot to enjoy the natural surroundings in any season. Just beyond, an expansive covered patio invites the relaxing breeze off the river.

The primary suite, located on the main level, offers a private sanctuary complete with a stunning view of the river, a walk-in closet, and a luxurious ensuite. A freestanding tub is perfectly positioned to soak in the river views, while the double vanity, spacious shower, and private water closet complete the spa-like experience.

Also on the main floor are a home gym, laundry room, powder room, mechanical room, and a well-organized mudroom with direct access from the covered porch. The attached two-car garage provides convenient everyday functionality.

Above the garage, a spacious loft offers flexible space for hobbies, guests, or relaxation. This Craftsman-style waterfront home is meticulously designed to optimize our clients’ lovely riverfront property, capture the view, and provide a refined retreat for retirement living.

The exterior features durable, low-maintenance vertical board-and-batten siding paired with a classic stone skirt for timeless appeal. Cedar shake accents above the front entry and sunroom windows add warmth and texture, enhancing the home’s Modern Craftsman character. Expansive windows throughout invite natural light and frame the river views, seamlessly connecting the interior to its beautiful surroundings.

Once the Gananoque Kinsmen Community Hall—and later a daycare closed in 2020—this space has been fully revitalized into a modern, licensed child care centre designed to meet current YMCA standards.

Now home to 39 children (15 toddlers and 24 preschoolers), the redesigned space features child-focused updates that prioritize safety, function, and early learning.

New project photos to share! The new eQuinelle Pavilion is a multi-purpose facility designed to complement the existing architecture and natural surroundings of the eQuinelle Golf Club in Kemptville. Blending functionality with a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere, the pavilion supports year-round club operations and seasonal programming, including summer children's camps, recreational events, and casual gatherings.

The heart of the pavilion is a bright, flexible space with movable tables and seating for children’s camp activities, meetings, and social events. California-style sliding patio doors connect to outdoor areas and welcome in the view. The multi-purpose building also includes: a private administrative office, male and female washrooms with changing areas, an accessible washroom with exterior door, and secure storage rooms accessible from the exterior.

Designed with versatility, accessibility, and community use in mind, the eQuinelle Pavilion enhances the overall member experience while supporting programs like children's summer camps and year-round recreational activities.
